The INTO Mini Sevens team represented the South in UL where they narrowly lost out to Doon CBS and Milford NS and picked up a convincing win against Courtenay NS. Thanks to the great performance, Adam Boyle will get to be a referee in a mini-sevens game in Croke Park at half time during the All Ireland hurling semi-final in August.
Members of the local Irish Girl Guides or ‘Brownies’ wore their uniforms and badges to school to celebrate World Scout Day.
Gráinne Kennedy of St. Brigid’s Ladies Football Club and Conor O’Grady of Hospital/Herbertstown GAA Club visited the school to talk about football. Both Conor and Gráinne have represented Limerick at minor level in Gaelic Football and they gave a great talk to the children about the sport. As past pupils of the school, the current crop of children were very interested to hear what they had to say.
Thanks to Conor & Gráinne for taking the time to visit us and support sport & Gaelic Games in the school.
