First & Second class have been busy creating some lovely artwork in the last few weeks.

Some beautiful artwork is starting to fill up the school’s walls, like these colourful autumn scenes in Mr. Fitzgerald’s room.
First & Second Class were busy preparing entries for the GAA’s Seachtain na Gaeilge competition where they had to create a poster about their GAA hero.
A broad range of heroes could be seen from Limerick players, club coaches and even Marty Morrissey!
They had to pick a topic that they had studied during the year and find out some more information about it. Each group designed a poster and had to create a 3D model of their choosing. We had some absolutely fantastic projects to present to the rest of the school including: David Attenborough dramas, chopstick challenges, wooden pyramids among many other exciting things! The girls and boys researched and designed the work entirely by themselves and learned lots about their chosen topic along the way. Well done to all!
During October 2nd and 3rd class enjoyed learning how to write letters. Each child sent a letter to a friend or relative and we have been receiving replies from people in Ireland, England, America and Australia!
Second & Third class were busy during September creating some very nice work during art.
